Just re-watched the debate…not sure why, but I did. For the first time ever, I thought there was a chance they’d come to blows. Never really seen anything like that. A nice fishbowl moment of where we are as a country when it comes to our politics.

Obama to me was the clear winner here. He was better on substance, zingers, and controlling the debate. I always know who is winning by which group of friends is quietist and tonight as it was with the VP debate, it was my Republican friends. A good night for the Dems. If you’re a latino or woman, I just don’t get how you can vote for Romney. He flat out thinks of you as 2nd rate and in some cases I’m sure sub-human. Also, any Republican who doesn’t call him on being rude tonight has really lost all credibility with me after all the Biden comments. This is two straight debates of Romney interrupting and being a dick to the moderator. 

Overall, # of Presidential debates that have decided a Presidential election = 0. Still all comes down to turnout. Debate Scorecard: Dems-2 GOP-1
